IUPUI has Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program funding, which is awarded to students with the highest financial need to attend school at IUPUI. The FWS award is one that students earn as they work
within a part-time position during an IUPUI academic term. Any funds earned within the position are paid directly to the student via direct deposit every two weeks as the student works during the academic term.
Other benefits of having a work-study job:
flexible work schedules, option to reduce student loans, valuable work experience, and reduced transportation costs with employment on or near campus. Students who participate in work-study are positively linked to academic achievement and graduation.
